Kamehameha Butterfly Sticker
Related to the Painted Lady butterflies on the mainland, the Kamehameha butterfly, is one only two endemic (that means, ‘just found here’) butterflies in the Hawaiian islands. They are rare to see for many of the same reasons the forest birds are rare. The Hawaiian word for butterfly is pulelehua, which roughly translates to, "red flower floating in the air."
